Skatewave Demo Tour rolls into Minneapolis!

May 2, 2005

Not even snow (!) or freezing temperatures could cool the enthusiasm of the Skatewave pro riders and local youth riders at Morris Park in Minneapolis. Everyone just piled on a few more layers and hit the park. Approximately 150 people braved the weather to check out Skatewave 3.0. There were at least 14 cities represented in the crowd, from as far as 100 miles away. The youth riders, as young as three years old, had a great time learning from the pros and perfecting their tricks. A drawing was held for three AngelBoy complete skateboards, and that got everyone excited. It was a great way to start off the Demo Tour!

A big thank you to the Minneapolis Park Board for hosting the first Demo Tour stop.

Now, on to the next (and hopefully warmer) stop: Des Moines, IA.
