There was a great turnout in Mandeville, LA, even with the threat of a hurricane still looming. The local park and rec department was an excellent host, and had the site ready to go when the Skatewave team arrived. Nearly 60 local riders were so excited (and their parents) that they arrived 20 minutes before the event started. Most of the parents stayed the entire time to watch. The local St. Tammany Times ran an article promoting the Demo Tour stop, which certainly helped the turnout. During the event, Demo Team riders Jesse and Zach held an impromptu session on skate etiquette and instructed all the skaters on the importance of flow. Now, on to Texas!
